Creating an account will involve 2 steps:
1. Creating a Communiti Account (To List and Manage your programs)
2. Creating a Stripe Account (Stripe is a payment processor)
Both these steps will be done together and should take 15-20 mins to complete. Please have the following information ready prior to starting the onboarding process:
Communiti Account
To create a Communiti account you will need the following:
- A Gmail account/phone number to login
- Your Club/Coach Display Name
- A short bio about the Club/Coach
Stripe Account
A Stripe Account can be created for an individual, corporation or non-for-profit entity. Depending on how your business is set up, you can choose any one of these options. The information needed for each of these cases is different and listed below.
Individual Stripe Account
- Basic information about yourself (Name, DOB, phone number, email)
- Your website (optional)
- A brief description about the club/coaching service you provide
- Bank account details where the money needs to be deposited (Account Number, Institution Number, Transit Number etc.)
- Depending on the regulation in the country, Stripe may ask you to complete a verification process where you will need to upload a piece of photo ID (eg. Drivers License). You will be able to take a picture of it using your phone directly as part of the onboarding process.
Corporation/Non-for-profit Stripe Account
- Information about the entity (Business Number and Registered Business Address)
- Basic information about yourself (Name, DOB, phone number, email)
- List of the Directors on the Board (Names and email addresses)
- Your website (optional)
- A brief description about the club/coaching service you provide
- Bank account details where the money needs to be deposited (Account Number, Institution Number, Transit Number etc.)
- Depending on the regulation in the country, Stripe may ask you to complete a verification process where you will need to upload a piece of photo ID (eg. Drivers License). You will be able to take a picture of it using your phone directly as part of the onboarding process.
